Focused Strategy Sessions
These strategy sessions are designed to address your most pressing needs. This is the ideal entry point if you need to brainstorm a specific article idea, review a pitch, or untangle a complex strategic knot. This service includes:
- A 30-minute discovery call to develop an agenda and determine the goal for the strategy session.
- An in-depth review of relevant materials (up to 10,000 words) sent at least three days before our meeting so I can diagnose gaps and opportunities.
- A 90-minute strategy session to dive into the work and solve the specific challenge we identified.
- A follow-up email with a recording and transcript of the session, a detailed memorandum, and resources to help you move forward.

Choosing the right publication to help you reach your goals and knowing what to write about is much easier when you have a roadmap. This intensive engagement defines your body of work and serves as the prerequisite for a long-term strategic thought partnership. Over the course of three 90-minute strategy sessions, we will:
- Clarify your business goals, outline a pitch strategy, and profile up to three media outlets that will help you reach the right audience and achieve your objectives.
- Define your body of work, starting with the overarching idea that delineates your area of expertise and the core themes that will differentiate you from your peers and position you as an authority in your field.
- Establish an editorial calendar with six well-developed article ideas that provide your audience with actionable insights, demonstrate your experience-based expertise, and are tailored to the requirements of your target publication.

This three-month, renewable engagement is exclusively available to clients who already have a publication roadmap. It offers a combination of structure and flexibility to ensure you publish consistently, without the struggle. Monthly services include:
- A one-hour strategy session to set realistic goals and deadlines for the month, discuss new opportunities, and address any questions or concerns.
- A deep developmental edit of one high-impact article with optional meetings after each round of edits to review the copy and recommend changes.
- Unlimited email access and 15-minute laser coaching sessions to discuss new opportunities or clarify your next steps whenever you get stuck.
Fee: $2,000 per month
